The Purpose and Benefits of Vedic Astrological Patra

Swami’s message to Hindu Pundits

In the Last year Swami Ram Charran has been going around the world giving seminars on the Patra and Vedic Astrology. Our Pundits are not well educated in this area of the Shastras known as Jyotish. Recently Swami Ram emphasized the importance of this knowledge for Pundits and sited the fact that more and more westerners are learning this subject avidly and will soon know more than our pundits. This is bad for our Hinduism as the westerners will not include the science of corrective puja into their knowledge since many of them have no knowledge of this branch of Hinduism. Swami Ram has given seminars on this subject at the Pundits Parishad Inc . in Queens , New York and to groups of Pundits in Toronto, Canada with the help of Syd ( Ram) Deonarine and Auntee Anita West Indian Grocery Store who also carry Swami Ram Books. Swami Ram advised the pundits that if they used the Lifecode Jyotish System for forecasting people lives, it willhelp them to be more accurate in their predictions as well be more effective in their Puja procedures. So far a few pundist have responded positively, but many more need to get involved as only through accurate Jyotish system will we gain the respect back for Hinduism. Some pundits such as Pt . Chunilal, the late Pt. Gossai, Pt. Tiwari and Pt Somdat in Canada, Pt Neorattan , Pt Mochan Persaud and Pt . Siewrattan has expressed high praises for Swami Ram’s work in this field. One of the Heendu learning Center goal is to standardize the work of pundits so that there are no conflicting knowledge between them as this makes it easier for the devotees to understand them. Presently there is much confusion among the devotes as there are controversies surrounding the work of Swamis, Pundits and Gurus. This is sited in view if the recent “Crooks “ of swamis from India who has been robbing people in Guyana and the Streets of Queens , New York. I hope that our devotees will be careful about who they go to see and that our pundits will see to it that devotees are given proper help so that they do not have to go see these “false swamis and pundits” who seek to ruin Hinduism.
