In the Last year Swami Ram Charran has been going around the world giving seminars on the Patra and Vedic Astrology. Our Pundits are not well educated in this area of the Shastras known as Jyotish. Recently Swami Ram emphasized the importance of this knowledge for Pundits and sited the fact that more and more westerners are learning this subject avidly and will soon know more than our pundits. This is bad for our Hinduism as the westerners will not include the science of corrective puja into their knowledge since many of them have no knowledge of this branch of Hinduism.
